Oktoberfest is so two centuries ago. On October 26, Periscopians strapped on their lederhosen and convened for the First Annual Skopetoberfest, a modern celebration of beer and camaraderie the likes of which have never before been seen in a downtown Minneapolis parking lot.
The event featured all of the traditional trappings of Munich’s most popular event: commemorative t-shirts, hammerschlagen, a step and repeat, a caramel apple bar, Miller Lite on tap and a contest to see who at Periscope has the coolest beer stein.
And don’t forget the authentic photo cut out. See photos (and share your own) on our Facebook page.
